The top is made from European ash which has great warmth against the colder looking river. The base of the table is American oak, burnt to bring out the fantastic grain and is jointed together using the traditional dovetail joints joining nature back together again. Contemporary Art

The beauty of contemporary art is there are never a fixed way or particular technique to define them. They are often created with a combination of multiple techniques, use of materials and concepts. It is purely base on the Artist’s skills and creativity to create a unique masterpiece. For the Art Lovers, these two pieces of unique Artwork would be ideal gifts.

The oil palette is used by the Artist back in 1998, whilst the raw plywood frame is built recently by the Artist. It's a relic of a lifelong passion for art housed in a frame built from the Artist’s work as a tradesman. Art for the Artist is empirical, created through personal life experience. The other piece of Artwork is made from six copper panels. Each panel is interchangeable so that every time a panel is moved a new piece of Artwork is created.
